Quartz countertops

Engineered from crushed natural quartz bound in resin. Non-porous, no sealing, and what you see on the sample is what shows up in your kitchen.

What it is good at

Where quartz wins.

  • Non-porous, so it never needs sealing
  • Highly consistent — the slab matches the sample
  • Resists staining from wine, coffee and citrus
  • The widest range of colors and vein patterns available
What to know first

Where it asks something of you.

  • Not heat-proof — use a trivet under hot pans
  • Direct, sustained sunlight can fade some colors over years
  • Chips at an exposed corner are repairable but visible
Fit

Best suited to

Busy family kitchens, anyone who wants a white marble look without marble maintenance, rental and resale properties.

Everyday care

Soap and water. Skip abrasive pads and anything with bleach or high pH.
