Neither is better across the board. Quartz never needs sealing and gives you a consistent, predictable pattern — it is the easier surface to live with. Granite handles heat better and gives you natural movement no two kitchens share, but it wants sealing about once a year. If you set hot pans directly on the counter, lean granite. If you want it to look exactly like the sample and forget about it, lean quartz.

Installed price depends on square footage, material tier, edge profile, number of cutouts and whether you are adding a waterfall or full-height backsplash. Rather than post a number that will be wrong for your kitchen, we would rather look at photos and rough measurements and give you a real range the same day. Yes — cabinetry is available by request. It is not our everyday work the way stone is, so we handle it as a coordinated add-on: we plan the cabinet layout and the countertop together so the finished room lines up. If you want cabinets and tops from one point of contact, say so when you call and we will scope it with you.

Most residential kitchens run one to three weeks from template to install, depending on material availability and how many jobs are ahead of yours. Templating happens after cabinets are set and level. Fabrication follows the approved layout, then installation is typically a single day for a standard kitchen.

You can, and it saves a little money, but it is not required. If we handle removal, we will confirm what happens with the sink, faucet and any plumbing disconnect before install day so nobody is standing around waiting on a plumber.

Yes. Both need extra material and vein planning, so bring them up when you request an estimate rather than after the slab is picked. A mitred waterfall in particular has to be laid out so the veining carries around the corner instead of stopping at it.

Photos of the room from a few angles, rough measurements or a cabinet plan, the project ZIP code, your sink and cooktop situation, and the look you are after. That is enough to give you a real range instead of a guess.

Every kitchen over about ten feet has them. What matters is where they land and how they are planned. We place seams where they are least visible and where the slab supports them, and we tell you where they will be before fabrication — not after.
